How We Safeguard Your Information

1. Core Component Coverage

  • Frame & Manufactured Components: Covered for 10 years from the manufacture/invoice date.
  • Insulated Glass Units (IGU): Covered for 5 years specifically for failures of the air seal or material imperfections that fall outside standard ASTM allowances.
  • Hardware: * 5 years: Magnet systems, wheel systems, panel interlocking systems, and hinge systems.
    • 5 years: Door handles, cylinders, deadbolt systems, and multipoint locking systems.
  • Finishes: Standard powder coat, PVC, and laminated finishes are covered for 10 years.
    • Note: This is reduced to 3 years for custom colors or products installed within 2 miles of the ocean.

2. Specialized Product Coverage

  • Laminated Glass: Covered for 5 years against premature delamination that obstructs vision.
  • Wood Cladding: Covered for 5 years, provided the wood was stored in a dry space and sealed within 7 days of delivery.
  • Retractable Screens: Covered for 1 year (excludes the screen mesh itself).

3. Key Conditions & Exclusions

  • Non-Transferable: The warranty is generally non-transferable unless you participate in their specific warranty transfer program.
  • Pre-Installation Inspection: You must inspect the product upon delivery. Installing a damaged or nonconforming product may void your ability to claim those specific damages later.
  • Installation: Labor and workmanship of the install are warranty for 1 year.  Limitations:  Does not cover House movement and settling.

If you need to use the warranty, they require claims to be submitted via their website at www.grandviewpatiodoors.com or by calling xxxx. You will need:

  • Proof of purchase.
  • Photos/videos of the issue.
  • Reporting within 30 days of discovering the defect.
